Default Bad Gas mileage

I have a 1995 Ram 2500 V10. Im borrowing it from my mom. I was wondering what are some of the things I can do to or check to improve my gas mileage?
I know that tires and stuff like that can contribute but I would like to get a list of things for me to try or change.

Thanks!!!

The V10 has distributorless ignition, therefore there is no single coil, but 10 individual ones and no cap or rotor.

What kind of mileage are you getting? Depending on driving style and type, anywhere from 8-12 is about average. Getting more than that would be an aberration.
