Default Another Mystery Piece!

okay so i was out test driving the new map sensor and i turned out of my apartment complex and heard a clinking noise like someone dropped a piece of steel, and i didnt know if something fell off my truck or i ran over it or what, so i swung around jumped out of my truck in the middle of the roas and grabbed it.. heres a pic any ideas?

Looks like a pin from a load tie-down on a big rig. I don't think it came from your truck.

did you change out your map sensor because it was bad ,or just to do it

Or a pin out of a 3 point. Was probably laying in the road, and you were just lucky enough to not see it, hit it and that's what you heard.

i just figured id change it becvause of the testimonials of power consistency, my truck seems like sometimes its peppy as hell then next time its sluggish so i figured id give it a try...so far so good

sweet, i just wanted to make sure, i didnt know what it would have been off my truck, but i make a turn, hear a noise, and see something on the road..it arouses my curiosity

I've got a bunch of them. I hauled boats for 13 years. Used pins of that type to hold the cross bars to the upright posts.

yep, not a ram part. looks like a pin from a shackle or from a piece of equiptment for a tractor, or it could be from an 18 wheeler flatbed.
