Oil in spark plug seat cylindes 7 + 8 normal?
Agreed, my wife's Accord had a similar problem in two cylinders and it was no big deal. In the case of Honda's it's because they have over head cams, and some O rings go bad. I wasn't going to spend a fortune on tearing the engine apart to replace the O rings. The dealer said it was no big deal and we ran it that way for years.
That's all fine and well, but if the plenum is blown, your going to be losing power, increased fuel conumption, and over time, the leaking oil will trash your cat. Also, your going to have to change those two plugs at much shorter intervals than the others.
My truck is doing same thing every cylinder is at 150psi except cylinder 8 and was told plenum gasket could be causing everything from the oil leak to the misfire to low compression issue check plenum gasket hopefully this week mine will be fixed mine drives fine and has full power
