No worries on sounding like a dick... I hear ya. But where should I have put the intro thread? Here? Some other section? Not being argumentative, honestly curious. I came here searching for Ram info, and putting an intro thread in the 2nd gen ram section didn't seem right. I didn't think it'd be such a big deal not posting an intro.
I wasn't meaning a big intro thread, just in the beginning of your first post in this thread even...
Heya everyone, my name is XYZ, I'm a big Jeep guy, but acquired myself a 1994 Ram 1500 with the auto and 5.9L V8 the other day. The issue I'm having is its got a leaky radiator.
I want an all metal one, with more cooling surface area than that stock metal/plastic/BS one.
I don't care if its aluminum or brass/copper, but price matters to me, up to a point.
I'm new to Dodges, and don't even know if 4-core radiators exist, but that's what I'd like...
You'll have to forgive some of us if we are quick tempered. Some of us work with the public all day long and come home quite "hot". Personally, I don't mind newb questions much (except others like "what size tires fit" that have been asked 1,000,001 times), just bad manners or disrespect. Now we see that you weren't bad mannered, you're just so used to being "one of the guys" you didn't notice that you didn't properly introduce yourself.
oh wait no one can stop me anyway, as soon as i start crankin' up the cat tractor, it looks and sounds scary when it comes straight at you, with the 355 horse diesel screaming at 2100 RPM, and the oober wide tracks looking like they want to eat you alive :P
