Default need suggestions: valve cover for 1.6 ratio rocker arms (5.9L)

I searched for this topic and came across a link APS Percision .

I do need some clarification. I just installed my roller rocker arms and was about to put the stock valve covers on when they didn't fit....

At this point im over my budget and i really dont want to buy new valve covers. Has anyone bought the baffle kit from aps precision? does it clear 1.6 ratio roller rocker arms?

Or can anyone with experience with roller rocker arms and 5.9L valve covers tell me which ones they bought so i can do some research?

The tallest valve covers i found were 3 3/4", i cant remember if they had baffles in them though.

Aps Precision baffle kit does sound nice, if it works like they say it does - no more oil leaking outta the seal...

you can pound the baffles in on the stockers for clearance.

Try calling Mancini racing for the Mopar Performance Valve Covers. They over ordered a while back and were selling them for $89, but you had to call, they weren't advertising this.

I have the APS baffle kit, but as mentioned, they are for the aluminum Mopar Performance valve covers, not the stock covers. They do work as advertised though FWIW.

Aim4squirrels you rock dude. Nice call on the valve covers! They still had a couple left and i was able to buy injectors for $8 bucks each!

Sure beats spending $249 on the valve covers. I could overnight a case of beer to ya and still spend less on valve covers, beer, freight, cap, and baffle lol...

The stock covers work on the non adjustables and the adjustables that aren't stud mount made by HS.

The studs are a little too high and I've heard crower and crane don't fit either.

Better call mancini quick BB2...

Well I got non adjustable and whatever the normal ones are for our engines. They are HS ones.

Heres what I got

I honestly don't really want the Mopar ones. everyone has them damn things and I don't think they will match the rest of my stuff very well. I would love to get some fabbed ones if I could find ones that will work on our trucks. Then I could get decals made for them.

Thats IF I need new ones

You could buy them cheap and have them powdercoated a different color. There's a guy on Bionic Dodge that has all yellow and they look badass. I also kind of liked Rex's aluminum color paint job on the stocker VC's myself

Those rockers will be fine under the stockers.
