Hey long time no see! I've been busy! I have an odd question...has anyone or what do you think about moving the spare tire from under the truck to setup up like broncos do off the rear tailgate?!?!

Crazy idea...I know but I have always loved the look and the location..plus I could convert the location to where the spare was for cargo...chains?...cooler? tons of ideas if I fab something up.

What you all think? Anyone done it? Would it be just as easy as getting that piece from junkyard and putting it on?

Swing-away tire carriers are sold by several aftermarket companies. You may even find a RAM-specific one.

 

I would make something if u have a welder. Make sure to put a lock on the wheel so it not easy to steel. I went to an off road park and at one of there meets. People where steeling wheels and tires (like u want to do) winches and event break lines!!! This was in the parking lot. I would make it so u can get a lock on there.

 

Is there no decency left in this world? Wait at a meet and steal stuff off the trucks in the lot. Next thing you know people will be stealing food off your plate at restaurants when you go to the head.

 

I know right break lines!!! They could have killed some one. I think they said 15 wheel/tires where taken and 2 winches, Not sure about how many break lines where taken I know there was a few.

 

Every Harley run I've gone to there have been bikes stolen. Some people have no respect for anything. Had my Harley stolen in 1995, but thanks to my red and white friends I got it back 2 months later.

 

About a month ago someone tried to steal my waverunners out of my front yard ! Luckily my neighbor is a volunteer fire fighter and saw them do it and chased them down the road till they dropped them and the cops recovered them and the trailer!

 

Nice I know I have follwed drunk drivers ( he was drinking bud in the car) on the phone w the 911 dispatcher tell them where we were going.

 

Oh, so that is that why you have all of those tires for sale on craigslist now? lol

 

yea it been a long time.... i had one on (1stgen) my other am i didnt like it on a 2wd took it off

you still got the push bummper, you is it to f-ed up to make one out of that?
