Default on last question about plenum sorry!!

i went ahead and ordered the intake gasket from hughes to and on the plenum it says dont use a sealent on that gasket
but on the intake gaskets do i use a sealent

Only on the front and rear gaskets. Make sure you get the corners real good. I think Hughes will send you an instruction sheet. APS does with their plenum kit.

The intake manifolds are notorious for leaking oil in the corners with the OEM gaskets. It's recommended by the community at large to put a healthy blob of RTV in each of the corners to make sure it seals up tight. I also usually smear a really really thin layer in the flat spots to help keep the side gaskets stuck in the proper position while you drop the manifold in place. Make sure you clear out the peg holes for the front/rear gaskets really good so they don't bulge.

i only got instructions for the plenum not the intake gasket

That's because you're expected to use the manual for that part of the install.

Whatever works, but yeah, I would use the factory manual over the Haynes or Chilton.

ok cool thats wat ill do friday and saturday is when i plan to do this got my hughes kit hypertech stat spectre cold air intake gonna be fun
