It had a little lift, which is pretty silly for a 2wd in my opinion. The truck belonged to a guy who likes to think he owns 4wd trucks.

I'm 5'10" tho. No fancy steps like yours either and I try to make sure I don't rub on the leather when I get in.

Man this thing looks great, you and your dad did an A+ job, I agree with you too, I think the new front coils will seat in nicely with a few thousand miles.

Thanks. And the coils seated pretty well in the 12 mile test drive/parts store trip I made this morning. Now I have about a 1/2" rake .

I'm sure everything will settle and level out after a few bumps.

LOL If it weren't for the fact that those running boards were bolted on to the body, they would have been gone a long time ago.
I never use them. I just polish the tarnish off of them every now and then and remove the bends in them when I drag them.

Very cool brother! Always nice to have a little rake to it. Have any better quality pics yet in the sun? Can't wait to see em.

No lol. I guess he just liked the looks, but he drove the hell out of the truck like it was 4wd before I got it. There was enough mud on the frame when I got it as evidence to know that he liked makin ruts.

Pictures I'll have after I detail it. My truck's still pretty dirty even though I washed it last night.
