Every vehicle has its crumple points. Some vehicles take impact at certain points better than others. My sisters Olds was a heavy car but it got hit right in the corner and knocked out the whole front end.
They work! My stepdad works for ATT and for a long time they werre having problems with hitting deer. He personally had hit like 3 in a 2 month period. He went bought one to use on his company truck and he noticed that when he approached deer in the truck, they ran off before he got to them.
After ATT installed it on all of their trucks, the deer wrecks stopped.

Well, I'd sure install one if I traveled much in deer country.
I'm more likely to run into a crack head than a deer, don't think I'd want to give a crackhead any warning.
