2000 dodge ram won't start
that doesn't mean that its pushing enough fuel to the injectors. testing the pressure is worth a shot. it could even have something to do with the fuel system relay. i've never seen your problem before so i'm just throwing ideas out there. thats why i'm not telling you to buy anything yet. just testing.

i will get a fuel pressure tested
keep throwing stuff out there because my brain is fryed on the dodge
light bulb! i have an alarm on my camaro that i disabled because its junk. it had a button on the bottom of the dash that you had to press in while doing something else to disable it or something.... anyway, i believe aftermarket alarms will keep it from starting if you unhook the battery without disabling it first or if you breathe on any of the wires for them, or look at it cross eyed.
if you have the manual then good, if you don't then you can go to the manufacturers web site and get one. with the manual you can find how to disable the alarm. do that and see if it will start. as long as none of the wires are shorted out then you should be fine just leaving it disabled for good.
on my camaro i couldn't tell what was the alarm and what was factory wires because its just a big jumbled up mess of wires. so i disabled it, pulled the fuses and took the pa speaker out of the engine.

some alarms have security features that will keep the vehicle from starting if you screw with the alarms wiring. ie: ripping the whole unit out.
if you are the one that installed it and know where all of the alarm related wires are then you'll be fine on removing it. but if you're in the same boat as me and just have a jumbled mass of wires and can't tell alarm from oem then you'll have to just disable the alarm and leave it be.
