how is that suppose to help matters any? "grandpa's turtle mod" kinda looks like the divider in the kegger to begin with. i thought the point was to cut that damn thing out? lol
Did anyone click the link I provided?... Geeze louise..
I did read it, and it sounds interesting.
To the OP being a 95 and still operating on OBD1, you have few "tuning" options.
IIRC, SCT makes a tuner for you, but I may be wrong. Other than that, your limited to the MOPAR PCM
IMO, if you want power, build the motor.
Be careful with old z man. He'll help ya out until you **** him off.
I got a MP pcm on e-bay I did give me more power when I had it in I took it out till I get my kegger mod done. I dont thank thay are worth $300 just keep looking on e-bay you will find a good deal
i'm aware that the kegger mod and the turtle mod are two different things, but the main point of the kegger mod was to take that divider in the middle of the intake OUT. and the turtle mod is just putting another one back in its place. to me, that makes no sense.
I'm with you on that, it is confusing. The only thing I can gather from these two mods is that the original divider in the kegger is a flat piece, where this mod is a triangular piece. That's the only difference I can see. Maybe the idea is that it accelerates the air flow, I dunno?
