Here's a link to the conversion kit http://emsoffroad.com/shop/index.php...4fb3b4036fafcd Pricey but it's the only kit I found for our trucks, at that they only have them for non abs axles. They list the ones with abs but I have contacted them about it and they have not been realest yet.

I saw those kits but that is a lot more than i'd like to spend. The actuator for my front axle went out and i would like to just junk the whole system. I've been told you can replace just the hubs and found a few parts on summit that claim to fit. I was hoping someone out there has already tried this and could offer some insight.

Also I found this kit http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PO...UP&prefilter=1 but I'm not sure if it would replace the stock one or if it is an addition to the stock system

posi-lok is the answer. its a manual cable that you engage from the comfort of the cab. damn climbing out into the middle of the mudhole. also just by the way, most cad problems are either broken vac lines or sticky/rusty shaft inside the cad.
(edit - and can be repaired if you care to fix the damn thing. i didn't either)

There is another kit, but just as expensive.

here you go. be aware that the vac switch on top of the t-case is the brain behind this stupid thing and it puts vac on one line for 2wd and vac on the other for 4wd. then the vac diaphram slides the coupling collar one way or the other to couple/uncouple the axle halves. when you remove the cad cover you'll see the collar, and you can slide it back and forth by hand. you can also operate the t-case and with vac hooked up see the diaphram slide the fork back and forth. stuck/rusty diaphram shaft inside the cad is a common problem.

from the service manual.

Thanks for the awesome link very nice to see something before you tear it apart for once. Hopefully I can just clean it and save some money for other mods.
