Typically under the dash, left of the column.

 

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 , I have a chimer ding ding ding that won't stop. I have checked all the LAMPS that the light is on for . help me turn it off . please . a fuse? a wire? a hammer? where is it ? is it called something secret on the fuse panel? I don't even know where the fuses are but I will find them .

When is it dinging? All the time?

 

well, the light, -lamp out light on dash, - is always on now (for a about a week now), and it dings intermently when whenever I may drive over a bump in the road and sometimes not and sometimes just because on a smooth road . I checked all the lights I think , and needed one and fixed that on the back by the plate . I don't know what fuse to look at so I haven't checked that yet. to tell the truth I don't really know where any fuses are except under the hood?

 

You need to fix what's causing it to ding. Why is the check gauges light on?
