That's a dumb idea. Oh, and have you ever thought of using the search feature?

yeah but adding 5" blocks will not raise the truck 5" if i remove the factory blocks so I guess my question would be what size ones do I need to level the truck some people say 2 some say 3 just trying to get some input before i spend my hard earned cash

Well the factory block is 3" so u need ones that are 2" taller. Check and make sure on the block height!

I'll say it again, increasing rear block height is a bad way to lift a truck. If all you want is the look and you don't do any off-roading, go for it. But if you've ever had torque twist rip your axle off the blocks you wouldn't even consider it. I have seen it first hand. It isn't pretty.

If all you expect to get is 2" of lift, then an AAL is a better choice.

You need a cutting touch to open the rear bands to put the leafs in.

hadn't really condsidered that figured if they were on from the factory they were okay ( I haven't done too much lifting of my own) but maybe i should just wait until i can add enough springs to remove the factory ones too?
