ok in my mind this program is complete bull****, destroying perfectly good vehicles, for what to get a new one, that gets slightly better mileage...im sorry but the people who do that are just bending over and getting *** raped by our government, all for what 4500 off the price of said new vehicle

i also suppose most of us have an emotional attachment to our dodges, i mean most of us have modded, or done little, or big (RM Indy) things to make them different and our own, and wouldn't want to part with a pristine truck

To show you how stupid all this is I was listening to Rush earlier today and he pointed out how one congressman was on one show being interviewed and he went on and on about what a great program this was and how we are getting rid of all the gas guzzling trucks and SUVs. So later he goes on another show and the host asks him what car he would buy if he traded in his car. He responds that he is looking into a Ford Explorer. HUH? They talk out of both sides of their mouths. Criticize us for what we drive but he does the same thing but it's OK for him to do it.
