I think it is 30K. But that is what I always do unless you have Iridum plugs. Then I would say 100K for plugs. 30K for wires, cap, and rotor.

I haven't replaced my cap & rotor yet, but Sheriff recommends to either lift up the back end or pull her back up on a hill so the back end is higher than the front. This should give you better access when you get back there. That's what I intend to do when I get to that point.

A for replacement of parts, it all depends on age and mileage. If something has been on for a long time, it's probably due. I haven't changed mine cap & rotor because it runs like a champ, but I think I read in a Haynes book (maybe not for our trucks) but they recommend replacing cap & rotor at 60K. I do my plugs, air filters, tranny filter & fluids at 30K. I recently went through and replaced the fluids on the power steering and brakes just because they were 13 years old. There is no specific recommendation when those are due, but they looked dark & ugly to me so I replaced them. The Coolant I replace once a year without fail. If you leave it too long it will eat up your parts. I gotta get around to replacing my rear end fluid but I think I still have some miles to go on that considering I'm only at 43K right now.
