ok guys i put my truck up on stands today and started it and put it in drive and in 2wd only my back two tires spin. and my front shaft works in 4 hi and 4 lo but it doesnt spin freely in 2wd im stumped what do yall think i know yall talked about my cad but what eles could it be ?

 

Like stated before, maybe the CAD collar isn't disengaging totally. When you spin the passenger tire (with transfer case it 2 wheel) does the front shaft spin? If so theres a good chance the collar is not fully disengaging. Just because the transfer case works dosnt mean the CAD does.

So did you try turning the front driveshaft by hand when it was up in the air?
