i have the summit shorty headers(they're pacesetter's with summits name on them). they are pretty good. the only problem i had like some other people stated, was that one pipe on each side had to loop around and it made it impossible to use a ratchet or anything to torque the bolt. so i had to use a wrench(PITA!!!). anyway, they worked out pretty good. just remember to do a heat cycle torque check. and even after that, re-torque them again in about a month of so. unless you use a loctite or something.

they weren't coated. just painted. and i've had them on for probably around 6 months now, and still no rusting. i just had to retorque the bolts once in a while. i make it a habit everytime i'm tinkering around in the engine compartment. yes, i did notice a slight sound difference and definitely more perfomance gain for high end. over all, for the price and even the effort it took to install them, it was well worth it in my opinion. plus it looks cool when you open the hood too lol.

i think I like the Eddies for 300$. They have that dull chrome look, and thats the main reason to get some shorties, just tired of looking @ those rusted pipes while everything else is purty. And like Aim said, unless your going deep into your motor, shorties will work just fine. I need to save every penny I can for this Coronet I'm eyin on craigs.
