Default 6" lift photos by request

I had a request to put some photos up of my truck once I was done with the lift. So here ya go ..Just bought this thing a couple of months ago and have had quite a few issues getting it running right, so have not had much $$ left to get it set up for any real abuse. The good news is it runs like a champ and sounds amazing now. Still have a lot of work to do to get it where I want it but I will update this thread as I go along.

Still remaining:
Build axles - regear, lockers, chromo shafts and eliminate the CAD
Bumpers
Cage
Sliders

Hope to have this list complete by end of year..then on from there.

I installed the Cepek 6" lift and have 36" Iroks on it now, once the axles are built will be going to 40".

The tires are rubbing the control arms on full lock but not the fenders, clears those by a couple of inches. Back spacing was a little much..but it's not ready for the trail yet.

The rims are Liquid Metal ..bought them at America's tire. I was going to go with beadlocks right off the bat, but was talked out of it by the guys at Allied because of the weight and street use.

how do you plan on gettin 40s under that? you would either have to cut or body lift it or both.

Truck rides decent, everything is still settling in so I imagine it's going to get better. The rear can get very bouncy when the road is choppy. The placement of the upper links outside the frame rail is a pretty poor design. Chopping the body mount still doesn't give much room for the link to cycle. The shocks ***** the up travel to about 3", which is good for rock crawling; however I see this as being a big problem in the desert. I am happy with it at this point though, it's a big improvement from what it was.

Yeah, the 40's are going to require a date with a sawsall. My plan for this truck is to have it off the street in a year and strictly a toy. I have a lot of work to do, my main priority at this point is to build the axles.

what kind of gears you going to get?

when i had a six inch skyjacker lift i had 38x15.5x15 with no rubbing issues so 40s that arnt that wide should work. when i added a 3 inch body lift i tucked 42s under it for one show but it rubbed pretty bad. they were also 15.5 inches wide though. go with say a 13 inch wide and you shouldnt be to bad.
