Superchips Tuner 3715
#11
I wanted to bring from the dead for a reason...I sent Mr blowfish his funds on 8/15/09, and have yet to recieve my tuner. He has NOT responded to my PMs and hasn't been on since 8/24 when he SHOULD have seen my first pm telling him that I havn't gotten my tuner. Yup I still haven't gotten it.
I have since opened a claim with paypal.
If anyone knows this person, or other forums he hangs out on, could you let him know that paypal and I would like to talk to him. Thanks!

That sucks man. I just got burned myself on another forum I belong to. I will try to help if I can. We need to find out where this joker lives first then go from there.

got burned on a CF hood for my 96 Talon back in the day. eBay refused to help even though i contacted them as soon as i knew it was a burn. happened long before paypal was part of the picture, and i was to young and dumb to realise i could have had it charged back to my card... fekkin 500 bones *poof* least the dbag sent me my HKS Carbon-Ti exhuast, with one MAJOR ding on the tip.
least youll more than likely get your $$ back

Despite the situation and the evidence as presented, I want to reiterate that I did NOT call the seller a scammer...yet.
Perhaps he is in school and a bit busy.
I'm not sure that Paypal would guarantee my funds if they cannot contact the seller.

After a certain period of time... a few weeks or a month, something along those lines, can't recall exactly... if the seller does not provide proof of shipping/delivery, the funds will be yanked from his PayPal account and given back to you. The burden of proof is with him, he has to prove he sent you the product. If he doesn't respond at all to PayPal's inquiries, PayPal treats it the same as an admission of guilt.
If his account has insufficient funds, or a zero balance, your money will still be given back to you and his account will go negative (just like an overdrawn checking account). After a certain amount of time, if he does not rectify this, they will close his account "negatively", meaning every piece of information that he gave to PayPal, from his name or social security number to any bank accounts or credit cards he associated with the account, will be blacklisted, and if that happens, he'll never be able to use PayPal again for anything (without faking his ID).
