Lift question for the guys...
Hey guys, as some of you know i just bought a 99 ram 1500 quad sport. I'm using it for work and an everyday truck. It has 111K miles on her and i'm putting some money into her as we speak. I'm replacing the plenum gasket along w/ the extra stuff from Hughes. Full tune up, front new brakes(calipers/rotors/pads/rear cylinders). But getting to the question.... When i hook my 6x12 trailer loaded the rear sags alil of course and the trailer chains are dragging alot, the wifeys Chevy trailerblazer held it up better. My question is how can i get her up alil more? I have seen a lift kit on ebay for like $250.00. I still want a good ride and nothing fansy!! I have been searching my a$$ off in the forums and just want your opinions b/c i have read some posts that said not to do much of anything to the rams w/ my mileage.

Its your basic 6x12 open trailer. The most common things carried on is my 48'' toro zero turn(8-900lbs) 2 push mowers(80lbs ea) then the blowers and trimmers. Other than that i load it w/ mulch but thats only once in awhile.

Air shocks are your solution, But I have to ask why we decided your rear will sag with lift blocks? They are the same size as your spring perches on your rear axle. Wont make them sag any faster with or without them. They have teh same contact patch as your spring perches when we are talking about contact with t your rear spring. This is a major misconception, but airshocks will be your best bet.
so something like linked below... i guess i have got to buy a controller also? Sorry newbie here..

That is one way to go, but you can get air shocks cheaper than that still if you are on a real tight budget. There is no need for a controller. They have a nipple that you locate somewhere and you get a compressor and fill them up with air. When you're done you bleed out the air. With air shocks though you do have to leave a little air in them for a proper ride. Carry a little 12 volt compressor and your good to go.
