Default Quick seat fix maybe

I moved my driver seat bottom to the pass side. You can't see the rip on the other..All you need is a 10mm wrench

Looks bad!

10mm bolt

Seat off Good time to clean carpet.

Looks good for 10min of work.

Good job. I pulled the seat cover off, turned it inside out, and sewed it up with 15lb test fishing line. I also reinforced the side where my fat *** slides across it, using some new stiff foam my wife got at hobby lobby. 22 Years in the Navy came in handy once again!

I have a 95 and I don't think the cushions can be swapped like that since the levers stick through the side of the seat. That was a good temp fix.

Actually that lever has to come off somehow. Either it has a cap that shows a screw underneath or it needs a tool to release it. The way I look at things is, if that part wasn't born on there, there's gotta be a way to get it off. My 97 has the same design as your's and I'm sure that lever comes off.

Or, you can follow along the same lines, and just switch the foam across. It was covered on here not too long ago. Just switch the foam around, and you'll be happy.

Does anyone know if this will work with power heated leather seats?

My drivers seat bottom feels like im leaning to the left, and so far is the most annoying thing about the truck for me so far (6 months)

I need to do that. My upholstery isn't ripped, but the foam sure is wimpy on that edge.
