When you click the search button, click the advanced search. It's the only way to go. Then you can limit your search to just 2nd gen.

Now, have you looked into ranch hand bumpers?

And I am very sorry to the rest of the people that posted replies to me on this subject. I too am very active on a beer making forum and yes it can get a bit frustrating to answer the same question over and over and yes it would be nice if people would do a search on the question but I did I pushed the little button on top that says search and I typed in grille guard 14 topics didn't get a good answer so I asked a question and to get your response sorry but why do you feel you need to be a pompous *** to some on e who is asking for help I see you are a Captain on this forum how many posts does it take to reach this level? Sorry but not all of us have time to sit here and read a 1000 pages of posts just to get an answer to a simple question. If I am now banned or I get berated by other members of this forum then so be it. But seriously Ram15002ndgen Dude get over yourself if you do not want to answer a question then don't
Dude, yes I am a Captain and it does take a lot of posts to reach that level, but NO that wasn't why I told you to do a search, and there is no need to get over myself. I told you to do a search because if you just read through the current 2nd gen posts you would see that there is a member on here who just recently (within the last month) wrecked his truck and replaced his entire front end including his brush guard. If you just took a moment, with very little effort that thread would have answered all your questions. When you are on here as long as I have been and as often as I am, you get tired of repeating the same stuff for people who are unwilling to try and help themselves. It's not that I don't want to help you since I have no problem sharing what I know, it's a matter of you and many other noob needs to at least put a little effort into helping yourself out first. If it's too much trouble for you to do a search and it's too time consuming for you to read a few posts, then what makes you think I should give of my time freely to you? I have no problem helping anyone. I know a lot of the regulars here and would help them in a heartbeat, but we get way too many people that join, ask one question and never come back to read the answer or never come back to become part of the board, and that gets old fast. I personally read through this board from stem to stern before I even joined up, and I got a lot of useful info and learned the personalities of the folks here before I even threw in my 2 cents. If my suggestion to do a search offended you, that's too bad, get a little thicker skin dude.

Buckstops are nice.

Reunel makes a good one too.

I had mine made by Viking Steel (Hanson) if you're looking for something with a better approach angle.

I have always liked Road Armor's designs:

But I saw one of these in my 1999 Dodge Ram brochure. I really like the sleek design and the winch.

Raz, it depends on what you're going to do with it. If it's just a street truck, then probably not. If you're actually going to use it, I suppose it only takes one time of not having it to realize the need.

Purpl, that's the Warn Trans4mer. I took mine off when I got my bumper. Still sitting out back (light bar, winch tray, tow hooks).

Doesnt look exactly the same but I like the Warn better. Looks beefier and has better options for lights.
Do you have any better pics than the one on Warn's site?

Not sure if the pictures are any better.
Go to my profile, then Albums and look at the bumper pics.
