Ok, well it updated the database to 307 081809. Still no change, "cannot detect ignition on"

You wont see near the gains out of a gas motor compared to a diesel. Diesels are more detuned from stock. They advertise somewhere around 15-25 hp gains on newer gas motors, but not sure about yours.

The 5.2L V8s have smaller gains then the 5.9L V8s, because the slightly bigger V8 is more detuned than the 5.2L. However, trey is 100% correct that diesels always show much higher gains than gas motors.

That being said, I did notice a nice little kick from my 3815. If I had to do it over again, though, I'd save up a few extra benjamins and nab a SCT from Hemifever.

Sounds to me this tuner isn't worth having. I'd rather take money I spent on it and put it towards exhaust or HS 1.7s, something not computerized.

I'm not saying its bad, I'm just saying I would go all out for the SCT, personally, if I could do it over again.

You can upgrade the engine all you want, if you don't somehow "tell" the computer you have done the upgrades, you'll never see the full benefit out of them.
