so i got my pcm today put it in no check engine light,no loss of power,trannys shifting ok now maybe i just got a good one from ace.

 

so my truck started popping and losing power again no codes maybe the intake gasket i know dodges are known for them if any one has any ideas i will consider all im almost out of ideas at this point

 

Have you fixed the plenum yet? How's the cat? How old are the O2 sensors? When was the last time you had a tune-up?

 

new cat, tune up was done,new 02s when the cat was changed going to order the gasket kit tonight its a dorman kit comes with new thermostat and gasket,new throttle body gasket,plenum gasket,intake gaskets and all new hard ware. but i was just researching and the chrysler gasket is thicker so maybe i might order that and put that one on instead of the one that comes with the kit

 

does anyone know if the tranny in a 5.2 jeep is the same as the one in my 5.2 dodge 1500

 

Mic Wrath where did you buy your new ecm module I am having the same issue and the cheapest I found on line is 200 bucks. Did you find it cheaper somewhere else?

 

An other old thread dug up. What year, model, engine size, stick or auto? We can't help you if we have no idea what you drive. Mic Wrath has not been on here since 09-23-2011 so I don't think he will respond.

 

Hello ...need help!! Im getting p0601 code frm my durango...it started cutting out or missing..seems like everyone on here dont hav no problems except check engine light ..so im just curious

 

601 is a ROM checksum error, which means an internal failure of the PCM. Time for a new one.
