Doing what? Unstable idle? Could be a vacuum leak, (possible blown plenum) bad TPS, or IAC.

i just replaced my plenum gasket and intake gasket and cleaned the iac and a shop checked all my vacuum lines and they all checked out ok, its making a whistling noise only when i accelerate and it doesn't seem to have the power it should when i accelerate. its also burning oil somewhere, it doesn't leak it just burns it out the exhaust that i haven't found yet. tested my head gaskets and they were good

It reads like one of the intake manifold gaskets is leaking, you might just have to redo the gaskets. Was a comp test done before this work was? If not do one now just so you know what shape the motor is in.

I was trying to be polite.

Grab a can of carb cleaner. Let the engine idle, and spray anywhere there is a gasket. If idle changes, there is your leak. Keep in mind, I don't think carb cleaner is as flammable as it once was, so, idle should go DOWN when you find a leak.
