Don't get blue halogen bulbs. If you are gonna do blue, get a set of HIDs from someone.

Blue is one of the worst colors in the spectrum to see. It sure looks cool, but your visibility is really poor, even worse than the stock yellows. White is the best choice, around 5000k (yellow with white hint) to 7000k (white with blue hint). 6000k is my personal favorite, nice bright white.

I was wondering about the blue color and visibility... I sold cars for years but have never driven one with HIDS... that is going to be one of my mods soon... Is that a consensus pretty much? look cool go blue ... See good go whit or yellow?

Not really, its pretty easy to give it the wanna-be ricer-ish look.

Blue headlights are stupid and they **** me off. You ought to get a ticket. You're not a cop. And ricers look retarded. Wanna-be looking ricers are even worse.

4000k is the brightest/whitest light you can get. the # is color temp. i got a set of 8500k (blue) lights one time off ebay and they sucked. if you want bright you should check out either silverstar ultras, hella or nighthawk bulbs. if you want to go a little more in depth and do some re-wiring you should do what jasonw did and get the higher wattage bulbs and put relays inline to save your headlight switch. the best thing is HID but thats a little more expensive than just bulbs.
