What is the best sounding exhaust on a 5.9?
My truck right now is apart because my dad and i are replacing the driverside wheel bearing. Once we get that put it i'm gonna take it to a shop and get a flowmaster 40 series with dual outlets behind the rear tires and some tips. I've searched and i think this is the sound i want.
Next summer i'll add a magnaflow cat after i put a hughes intake in it. I've heard that a bad intake gasket will clog your cat so i figure that'll give me an excuse for the highflow cat

you just love that aero turbine, don't you?
you sound like me when i'm pushing Knock'er Loose or straight piped exhaust.
i think the aero turbine is a little too aggressive for the op's taste.

He said he was looking into the 40 series, I've had both and the AT is better in every way and it's quieter when cruising.
I've been searching for exhaust systems to put on my truck too, After watching some of the vids, and doing some other searches, I'm deffinantly going with the Aero Turbine.

Hey guys for those of you that have removed your muffler. Did you guys cut it off or did they have the exhaust pipe clamps holding it to the system? I dont see any welds on the inlet and outlet of my stock muffler. Just some exhaust clamps on there. Now, My question is. Were your mufflers welded or clamped on?
