ive gotten water under it a few times, but now she starts up fine, and runs like she did before, although last night i walked in my house for like 2 mins, then walked back out, and the truck was off, then would start again, i pulled the fuel pump relay, and put it back, then got nothing, then swaped the ASD relay with the A/C clutch relay, and it started right up, then i turned my a/c on, and the compressor turned on, so i dont know what was up with it

probably a bad contact on the asd relay. sometimes just pulling a relay and re-seating it will do the trick. its the same thing with fuses.

If you are getting white smoke after the engine running for a while then you may have a cracked head/head gasket allowing coolant to leak into the combustion chamber where it is being burnt/steamed out. I would address this issue without hesitation before you develop a more severe problem because of this. It is easier to put a new head/head gasket in than it is to replace the enitre engine due to warping the block or any number of other related issues. Just my opinion.

but thats the thing, it doesnt get hot, and after i rev it up, it clears up, then doesnt smoke. i know the plenum leaks a little cause there is a little oil in the bottom of my intake, and it burns oil maybe a 1/2 quart to 1 quart every 2 weeks

Are you absolutely sure it is white smoke and not light blue smoke you are seeing? Maybe it is light blue which could be associated with the plenum leak. That would make sense then due to idling allowing more oil to pool in the intake and once you rev it up you have sucked in and burnt off the oil that was pooling in the intake. then you wouldn't have smoke for a bit after that unless you allow the truck to sit and idle a bit more which would start the process all over again.

it could be a light blue, its really hard to tell. if it was a head issue, wouldnt it run hot, and wouldnt there be coolant in the oil, or vise versa?
