Default Any interest on a group buy for an e fan set up?

Just wondering if anybody would be interested in a e fan group buy. I am probably gonna get this kit myself. Figured I would see if anybody else might like a kit I would see if they would work us a deal. I haven't emailed them yet cause I wanted to see if there was any interest first.

If there is interest I'll get a hold of a mod and see if its ok as well. Never tried starting anything like this before so mods if I'm breaking any rules sorry just let me know what I gotta do to be ok.

Anyway heres the kit: http://www.ffdynamics.com/ramB.html They sell it for $275 on their site with free shipping. They sell it for $245 on ebay with $50 shipping which is actually $295.

Anyway let me know. If theres interest I'll send them an email and see what they say but not gonna waste my time other wise

well according to Hutch we don't need the 3500 everybody pushes so I would think 6000 would be ok lol

No way those fans even move 3k at that low of an amp draw per unit.

I apologize to all for starting the fan thread but then getting distracted with other things before wrapping it up. Think those fans are overpriced but honestly haven't looked much into controllers yet. If they are running your $40-$50 controller, you're paying too much.

Two of these will cool our trucks.

If memory serves, a member on here has one of these and a 14" on his truck in Texas(?) and has never had any issues. I'd go back and look but I'm on a crappy hotel wifi connection.

So keep that in mind before spending 300 bucks on something else. I'm on the road and don't have my numbers with me, but the above is the cheapest combo I've found so far. Will get you over 2k of air.

I did email ffd to see how they rate the fans, but not expecting anything different then the last dozen guys I've contacted.

Hutch you might be right. Even with 2 of those fans you posted and a higher priced controller that summit sells your looking at about $200. That doesn't include all the added stuff they the kit has like the mounting hardware. Like I told you in the PM I sent you a while back. I like the idea of everythign being together. I hate piecing **** together. Still cheaper then the flex-a-lite stuff

the price is kinda the point in the group buy. See if I can get it down some. No matter what I like that kit. Ya never know if something will work untill you try it.

For those that are interested I have a couple people that has shown interest on DT as well
