Default My Night at Ozark Raceway

Well, for those of you that read the thread," What did you do to your ram today?", you would know that I had plans on taking the truck to the track tonight. I did. First off, don't expect real whoppers of numbers, this is a 12 year old truck, stock, and a 4x4. For what it is, I was kinda impressed.

Here is a video of one of the 5 passes we made:

That is my ram, and don't bitch at me about the video quality either. My Camera man, who will remain nameless, "SETH" (ridinhigh) Kinda made a fail at this point. He missed getting the burnout and didn't get up to where he was supposed to go. Oh well, it gives me a better excuse to go again sometime. Yes, all that smoke is from my truck.

Time slips to follow shortly.

Very nice. Hopefully mine will be a little snappier once I get to the plenum fix.
I'm getting 0-60 in about 9to10 seconds... lol.
No idea on quarter mile times or speeds. Have never taken it to a track. Hell, the closest one is a 100 yard mud bog anyway.

Holy Cow, it still sounds mean as crap, lol. The important thing is that you had fun and a camera man.

where is the time slip?
my truck would probably be embarrassing at the strip, it doesn't really start to push you into the seat until you hit about 50 mph.

you don't have to show us the slip, just tell us your times/speed.

It's a hell of a lot easier to scan them in, but only when the fricking scanner works... And I'm not about to type everything out, so I took pictures that hopefully will sate you guys until I can get the scanner working.

My truck is #4090 Seth's (ridin) truck is #4089

The 16's were all me baby lol

It was fun as hell I am disappointed with those reaction times will have to get that down a bit

Laremie the only reason that slip is the favorite is because I couldnt get that HEMI power down to the track but it was a good race

And on a side note I saw the guy that handed us our slips after every race at a friends house later this evening can you say small world

Glad to get a base line down so once the mods start coming I can see how they help me improve

^ No comment on the Camera job, huh?

Hey, when you are making almost 100 more horses than I am, I take any win I can get.

I really do expect you to get those times better. You could have killed that cheby in the second vid.

Ya know, I really have to figure out a way to keep from wanting to do this every Friday night. This is gonna be hell on tires, tranny, and my rear diff.

Wow, you are right, small world. Did he recognize you, or you him?
