Default 2000 Ram 1500 Performance

I currently own a 2000 Ram 1500 that I bought almost a year ago and I love it. I want to keep it for quite a while considering I still owe on it. Heres what I have done already

2000 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Laramie EXT Cab. Automatic 2WD-- 93,000 Miles
318 with K and N Filter in stock airbox
Iridium Plugs with 7mm Wires
10W30 Amsoil

Have Replaced the Water pump, new gear oil in rear diff, trans flush with new filter, front brakes, 4 Ball Joints, and 245 75 R15 BFG Long Trail Tires. I am also thinkin of gettin a 3 in Magnaflow cat back exhaust, Volant Intake, and Bildstien Shocks on the front and Rear. Interior Has Kenwood MP3 CD

If anyone else can help with performance upgrades without too much alteration, it would be greatly appreciated. The truck runs excellent but feels tired when i Hit the gas, I almost have to go halfway to the floor to see any kind of pickup. Im worried about the dreaded plenum gasket as well. Any insight would greatly help

First I'd check into the plenum gasket. Search around here a bit for topics on that to help diagnose.
For performance mods, the ones listed would help. I'd also look into a 14x3 round air cleaner and dump that stock box. Furthermore, some people here claim their trucks run better on certain plugs. Apparently our Magnums are a little picky. I'm not sure what's been said of Iridiums. What brand are they? Oh, and take a look at the TSB about proper plug wire routing- could be of some help.
Check out the DIY Links sticky in this forum for some other things.

Also look into a Tuner. Superchips,SCT,Hypertech. Up the 7mm wires to 8mm or 8.5 . Iridium plugs did not work in my engine, yeah its picky. The search feature will give you more than enough ideas and suggestions.

I didn't think they started programming them from the factory until '01? I've got a '00 5.2 and it bares no sticker evidence of being reflashed.
