Wow I wish I saw this earlier.. Too late though. Already bought half ton parts. Would this even work on a 1996 Ram?

Like what? Yes Ram me the pieces would've mounted on your truck.

Note: 2000 and up Rams require a different tie rod for the pitman arm because it has a different taper. That part is ES3527. You can also reuse your old adjuster sleeve, unless i's very rusty.

i have a 97 1500 will this work for it and if so what year parts do i have to get it off of

Yes it works...you'll need the original parts list and an ES3498 tie rod instead of the es3527.

Talk about resurected threads...nice to see some s/ns I haven't seen in a while.
