Question for you guys... We just ordered my brother the 3inch suspension lift from Top Gun Customz. Its the one with the coil spacers, 2 shocks, rear blocks and U bolts.

I got to looking at his truck the other day. Its a 97 Ram 1500 4x4 ext.cab. Im not a Dodge guy so this may sound stupid but...the trucks I have worked on are my Titan and My F150, bot when I added coil spacers were on a Coil/over or a coilspring. What is on his truck looks like a coilover with a big dome over the top that raises up almost to the top of the fender well. what the crap is that? Will that lift still work with it?

Thanks guys I just want my ducks in a row when I go to install this thing, hunting season is right around the corner and time is running out...>LOL

Not sure what your asking but when I did my 3" lift it was fine. I used all the factory stuff and the new bolts. FYI you should have 4 new shocks not just 2.

Sorry my description pretty much sucked...

Instead of the shock sitting inside the spring and stopping at the top of the spring like a standard coil/over their is a Dome looking thing that is on top of the mount (coil bucket) that the shock runs up and bolts to. Im sorry man I will try and get a picture of it.

and their is only 2 shocks, 1 for each side of the front....This kit only came with a 1.5 inch block and dont need rear shocks I guess....
