ouch, glad yer ok man

ok so the other day, dad and i are coming home from Lowes, in his truck, we had the stock trailer (gooseneck, 20 foot floor) loaded with 2 full skids of lumber (2"x12"x16's) yea they were big, and very, very heavy. anyway, we are on a 4 lane highway (US 31), we were approaching an off ramp from HW 12, its a yield, a lady on her CELL PHONE was coming down that ramp, and with out even looking, or slowing down, proceded to nearly run into our truck, we nailed the brakes, she noticed us when we locked up all 4 of the trailer tires, she ended up in the grass along side the road, and we couldn't get over, b/c there was a sweet looking second gen in the left lane, i think he about **** a brick when we locked up the tires

all the lumber slid forward 4 feet and rammed into the front of the trailer, nearly destorying some other stuffs we had put up there

im glad we weren't in my truck, there is no way in hell it could have stopped as well as my dad 1 ton with 4 wheel disks

Yes, you can see in the second picture that the spare is mounted. I couldnt belive it was still holding air. It too bad that I couldnt dodge the dodge in my dodge lol.

Ive got a guy that will fix it for $300. Itll be better than before.

I wouldnt want to find a new wheel for that Mustang. Ram wheels are cheap.

Nice Mustang, though!

Whats wrong with aluminum? I'm sure that a steel wheel wouldnt have held air like that aluminum did. Plus we dont have to deal with rust.

Thanks, I got lucky with that one, I found it on Craigslist with 12,000 original miles on it. I got my truck so that if things like a wreck or driving it in the rain it doesnt get messed up. I am 16, and high school parking lots can be hell on a nice car. So, a Dodge truck doesnt stand out as much.

No, I cant just leave it, it bothers me. $300 isnt that much to fix it compleatly and repaint it. Ive also got a sun spot on my fender, hopefully he will repaint that too for cheap.
