Are you sure you want those? Wouldnt it be much cheaper to just buy a new 3-spoke wheel?
Why wouldnt I? The Junkyard wants like $50-$75 for a new 3 spoke and I can get all 4 new 5-spokes for $200. I dont like the way the 3 spoke rims look. JMHO

Your spare is a Michelin and you said it is nine years old. That would make it original right?
Did all these trucks come with Michelin spares..?
If so, I think mine is the original as well.. Kinda scary, but maybe that's why it's near bald and the sidewall has tiny cracks. It's an odd size, though like 245/80 or something. Slightly taller, but thinner, than my stock size 265/75.
It's a good tire, though. I've been driving on it in the rear left for near two months with no issues and even had a bed full of furniture. Don't had the money for a new set yet- I need all four replaced before winter.

Whatever tires that your truck came with from the factory, one was mounted on the spare. So, if your truck came with 245 Michelin LTX A/S tires you got a 245 Michelin LTX A/S spare mounted on a steelie. My truck came with 265 Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires and I still have the original 265 Goodyear Wrangler RT/S as the spare. Has only been used once!!!

But if you took your truck to a good tire shop to get the tires rotated, they would take the spare tire off the rim and mount it on one of the wheels on the truck. Then they would take the tire that was replaced by the spare and mount on the steel spare. This extends the life of your tires by a good amount (At the expense of one tire) and helps prevent dry rot. When I get new tires were going to buy another alloy wheel and a 5 tires and rotate all 5 of those to extend the life of the tires.

I think you're all missing the picture here.... STARBUCKS! Why would you have gone to a place that charges $4.00 for a cup of coffee?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Had you gone to a different location this accident could have been avoided!! LOL

Just kidding around.. Glad you were'nt hurt! Time for some rims indeed!

I never go offroading. Not yet, Im thinking 68,000 miles on the original transmission and suspension, so no thanks its just asking for somthing to break lol

New rims are on the way, and the dent wil be fixed on Monday. Not too bad!

off roading is fun though

as far as the original tranny and suspension, it shouln't hurt it, i have 90,000 on my truck, and it gets the shat beaten out of it at work, and it holds up
