Oh yeah sorry lol, I was trying to turn left onto a 5 lane road, trying to get onto the shoulder. I was leaving the Starbucks parking lot, light was red, A guy in a moving truck waved me on, he had stopped at the exit and I coulnt see the other side of him, and when I pulled out and a guy was going 45 and hit me. He was a nice guy, it worked out ok.. He was driving a 1991 Dodge Ram 250 with a Cummins Turbo Diesel. He had a large grill gaurd.

Yeah, never ever trust people waving you on. Just because one guy is being nice, doesn't mean that the guys around him are going to be, or even that they are watching. Especially if they are on their cell phones.

I've had so many friends get into accidents because one person waved them on.

I am sure you know this or atleast I hope you do but do NOT drive with that wheel on the truck. The entire bead surface area is showing and you will definitely end up with a blow out from lateral pressure on that wheel.

Glad it turned out not too bad, could have been so much worse.

As stated, those wave-ons on multi laned roads are very dangerous.
I saw a lady get creamed with one of those coming out of a taco bell, luckily it missed a dead on broadside by about a foot, quite an impact.
It was a bus waving her on too, about 10 car lengths in front of a red light, guy that hit her had no clue she was going to pop out in front of the bus, I was right behind him and it sure took me by surprise.

I'd turn right and go around the block before I take a risky left turn wave on ,,, And also, after seeing that taco bell wreck, when I see vehicles in another lane stopped for no good reason like that, I assume that they are trying to let someone turn in front of them, and approach cautiously.
