thats a 96 style as well like mine....bottom left is fuel and bottom right is water/coolant temp..... I just changed my stat today and it looks like you'll likely be doing the same unless your really low on coolant or something else failed....mine was running hot and put a 180 dergree stat in and it runs 180 on the money now.... sweet!
When I first got mine, I had a similar problem. It ended up being calcium deposits in the radiator and they were blocking the coolant flow. I tried the 180 degree stat first, but it didn't fix it. I got the radiator for $150 wholesale from napa.
Checked coolant yesterday and I see none in resivour or radiator so that is likely my problem. I'm gonna fill them this afternoon and cruise around the neighborhood and see how it goes. I'll report back.
THanks again for all the quick help. I'm liking this forum already...

Cool, i hope for the best. Maybe its just a leak. And not a blown HG. Im sure youve checked your oil...I think you say you've already checked it. But, Make sure it doesnt look like coffee with da creamer and you should be good to go.
Maybe you didnt overheat it and cause any damage. Hope not!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed but I think I'm good
. I'll let ya know...
bottom right is your coolant temp. It should hover around 200F +/-10F. If you gauge is pegging and your coolant levels are ok, I would replace the thermostat. It sounds like your t-stat is not opening and thus the coolant is staying in the radiator
