Yeah I guess, one more question, my transmission is now rebuilt and i'm going to be putting it on the car this weekend. I have heard that you need to buy a new torque converter as well when you rebuild the trans, is this true? or can i just use my old torque converter?

I would recommend putting in a new one. You can also get different stall speeds according to how you use the truck. Some one else here might chime in on that or ask the shop that's rebuilding the tranny.

Yeah I have read about that but I'm wondering if its really necessary because I will be using this truck for plowing in the winter but that's about it. As of now I wouldn't be able to afford a $400 torque converter, I'm a broke college student!! LOL
