Just got my build sheet from Dodge and found out that my truck has 4.10 gears in it from the factory. Will these gears be fine with a 285/75/16 tire?

i'm jealous.

4.10 gears with 33" tires (285 75 16, 32.8" technically) should have about the same amount of power as 3.55 gears with a 29" tire (245 75 16).

there should be a sticker on the top of the axle tube next to one of the drums with the ratio. there should also be a sticker on the hood right behind the grille with the axle ratio and some other tidbits about your truck.

never bothered to check....but I can drive to my cabin and back on $20 (mostly 65mph and 45) and the same trip in my vette uses about $14 and in my e250 van with a 4.6 liter v8 it costs about $17 so... considering my rams a 360 with about 5-6 inches of lift and 35" mudders thats not bad with 4.56 gears
