what info??? That you can break into the truck the exact same way as most other make and model cars?? do you honestly think theres any car theif out there who doesnt already know how to break into a car or truck.....if there smart enough to be able to break the steering column and hot wire the thing they have already graduated from this class....
lol come on use some common sense, Maybe if I have kids and dont ever talk to them about sex they will never learn about it and try it either?....
I really hope you were kidding man....If there was some secret unique weakness to our particular generation ram I could see someone maybe getting upset about it but no sercrets were divulged here?...except maybe not where to hide your spare key

LOL I used to have one in my wallet, and I think that Jason uses the same setup for his truck as well. The only issue is, I broke a key awhile back and my spare has become my primary. Seems my tumblers do not like a key that's been cut on a cheapo machine. They need to be made up by hand so to speak. I've never got around to doing it though. It's never really bothered me either, I've gotten very good at two distinct different methods.

I'm glad that the info has been removed, but really, if someone plans on breaking into our trucks, we are all screwed. Nothing is going to keep a person out of your vehicle.

As one of the greatest master minds in history said," Locks just keep honest people honest".

(Scooby snack for the first person that can tell me who said that.)

I used to drive a towtruck and repo to some people say its the same thing as stealing a car. there are easier was to steal a car some are hard some are easy. I like the ones that have remote start (aftermarket) the key in the box under the dashboard helps out a LOT. anyone that don't want their car truck stolen get a column lock. with a masterlock lock on it. the thief will move on to the next car
I carry my old repo stuff around with me when out at the mall everybody seems to lock there keys in the car I pull up unlock the car for them. I got into a fight tonight with a tow truck driver saying he knows what he is doing to this 18-19 year old kids using a under over on a dodge durango. he scratched the inside of her tint. after 20 mins of trying. I told him are you paying for it. So he got the cops their and they charged him for damages. I ask the cop if he minds if i open the car for her. I repo cars he said sure. I kid you not it took me longer to get the stuff out of the truck then it did to open the door. the tow truck driver was pissed off the girls was happy. I even had to shut the security off using the key in the drivers door.
I never lock my keys in truck i have FAB's to lock my doors if i loose my keys i have a extra key hidden under truck

I got a spare somewhere on my ride, I'll make it a challenge to any googling Ram thieves.
Find the key before I shoot you !

I once had a swarm of cops and rent a cops try to get mine open with a slim jim, failed.

^ Slim jims are very tricky on our trucks, and in most cases, a coat hanger works quicker and a hell of a lot easier.

Ummm, Im pretty sure that any truck with a sliding back glass is the easiest thing in the world to break into. A long skinny flat blade screwdriver and about 20 seconds and you are in. Also the antenna is your best friend. Take it off, bend the end into a Z and shove it thru the top of the door. This works on just about any vehicle with electric locks.

You Werent supposed to post this!! your educating the public....better we all stay ignorant and pay for a towtruck than let this info get into the wrong hands!! I'm kidding of course....its all easy enough for a 5th grader to figure out on his own really...or anyone whos watched a lot of tv.
I would hope that if anything this thread would educate those in bad areas just how easy it is to get if you dont want to just break a window and convince them to add additional security of some kind...

I have a Python/Viper Aftermarket security system for the win . Hey pizzo here is a good one for ya, all my wires are black that are under the dash (hehe no color coding for ya) and the brain to the aftermarket security system is hidden good luck re-poing my truck if you'd try. Starter kill, Fuel kill, Dual alarms (wires are built into the stock harness), Battery backup (hidden), Glass sensor, and a mile radius 2way pager system, and its expandable too! p.s. i'd be there quicker than a pitbull on mayonnaise . Now i'd be screwed if i lost my remote on my keychain..lol

peace.
