You want to know the best way to not get your truck broke into??? Keep the expensive **** out of sight! What is someone going to get for an average second gen ram on the street? Not more than $5000....plus they run the risk of getting a felony for grand theft. Now I walk by see your truck with a nice head unit, ipod, gps sitting on the dash, all im goin to do is bust your window out grab the electronics, go thru the truck trying to find an emergency credit card or anything else worth some money. In less than 2mins Im already leaving and got enough stuff to sell to make me some decent cash. Plus I can get rid of any of that stuff at any local pawn shop. Little harder to get rid of a stolen vehicle.
I have a Python/Viper Aftermarket security system for the win
. Hey pizzo here is a good one for ya, all my wires are black that are under the dash (hehe no color coding for ya) and the brain to the aftermarket security system is hidden
good luck re-poing my truck if you'd try. Starter kill, Fuel kill, Dual alarms (wires are built into the stock harness), Battery backup (hidden), Glass sensor, and a mile radius 2way pager system, and its expandable too! p.s. i'd be there quicker than a pitbull on mayonnaise
. Now i'd be screwed if i lost my remote on my keychain..lol
peace.

the pager is a good idea it at least tells you something is going on. the alarm you have is a good one but when they don't get the car people like me would just come back with the cops and a court order for the car.

and my method for not locking the keys in the truck, take the keys out and clip to beltloop, get out then manually lock the doors
i keep a spare key on my truck...
...but thats for my apartment he he.....
.....and you assclowns don't know where that's at
