Okay there people. Still not going to keep them from shattering a window or breaking the lock, more or less try to ease a random bar through the window....but for those who are paranoid....

Reedy17 Do yourself a big favor. Hide an extra key behind the gas tank lid like I do. I have used mine over and over. Heck maybe one of us may get lucky someday and some poor, unsuspecting thief might steal our money pit. Guess he wouldn't make it far unless he had money for gas.

Hey guys why are you telling people where you are hiding your keys at? Palerider9999 your not that far from he and I could always use another truck now. (I'm not going to steel your truck.) Both of you need to fix your posts this is an open site and anyone can see this and know how to get into our trucks!

So that's how you break into your own truck?! Awesome.. lol.

But seriously, good info to know (for us Ram owners), but shouldn't be so public.
People dedicated to getting something will succeed, but let's not make it this easy

lol were all ram owners here I dont think its a big thing who Knows? We too might need this info some day if we do this somewhere and need to get it unlocked..... besides it no secret thing that you can just pull up on the window weatherstripping and it pops right out.....pulled mine out and replaced them last week with no tools at all....
I think thieves got more important things to do than scope out online for weaknesses in 12 year or more old trucks to break in ...besides a slimjim works just as easy without even removing the stripping and thats what all the crooks who dont break windows use so....paraniod??
