Default No horn, 97 1500

Bought a truck for my son to drive and the horn doesn't work (needs it to work to take driving test). Looked under left, front bumper and didn't find a horn but two connectors taped under the bumper.

Any idea what they are for? Trying to figure out how to upload pics.

Thanks!

sounds to me like someone removed the horn and left you wires hanging, we'll get a better idea once you figure the picture thing out (steps stated above)

I changed my horn not too long ago, as I recall, there was a black & blue connector that was not used for anything, then the horn.
You are talking drivers side, right ?
Should be visible laying on your back under the bumper.
Not sure why someone would just take it out, those things generally do not come out unless you unbolt them.
Who knows, but take a look at the horn connector and see if you can find something that matches up with it.
Junkyard might be the best, auto store horns usually require some modification to connect.

horn button may have been stuck and they removed the horn....or a bad relay stuck closed......but why remove and not just unplug? ii also think that i read somewhere that the horn is in a dif spot on some trucks, but mine is drivers side

mines on the drivers side as well, and my mount for it broke so its hanging down, maybe yours was hanging as well, and the horn came unclipped and fell?

and i have heard of those with the horn stuck, but usually they take the fuse out, and not the horn.

if you get the freeway blaster horns (high and low tone) then all you have to do as far as modification is cut the original wires and crimp on two connectors for each horn.

those look like my stock horn plugs. where are you at? i still have my stock horns and don't have any use for them.
