408. In a sunny, warm climate like Texas or southern California or Florida, where you could ride it 99% of the year, a bike might be more of a viable option. But when you have winters, you're talking about paying insurance on something you can only ride 60% of the year.

My philosophy is, why pay money to maintain something (in this case, insurance) when you can't/won't use it?

I'd stick with what I have, and up it. My two cents.

Hmm, good points from all of you. But yes as it was said, i still have my truck as a DD. Already have a built trans for a 408. Bikes do get great gas.

Jason, has a really good point about insurance.....
But bikes on military base is also a bonus.
Buuuut, 408 with a nice cam lope is amazing.

Oh btw, for those of you who know what was done to my ram (mods..). The reason im loookin into the 408 now ( was only thinking about getting a bike before), is due to the fact that i cracked a head.....Soooo as of now only thing my ram has got in it is the tuner, full exhaust ,TB , and msd wires... BIG difference from what I had. Got a pair of used stock heads and threw those in there for the time being with my 1.7rr sitting in a box. Block is still great though .

Just thought id throw that out there.

Not if you have a loan on the bike. The bank will insist you have coverage year-round to protect their collateral.
