nope, not the therm, it runs around 185 all day, everyday, stop and go. hwy about 175-180.

let me clean things up a bit, when i turn my temp **** on the dash, i get nothing. no heat, nothing, stays cold. its almost as if i didnt turn the temp control.

IIRC, on a 2000 the blend door is controlled by a motor on the heater box. It could be bad or the blend door is broke.

I believe the later model 2nd gens. use an electric motor.

Well, my dad shot some TB cleaner through the bad one, then blew it out, and it seems to holding up better. We swapped the good one to the manifold and the not so good one to the T. It has since stopped cutting out to defrost, so no complaints here
