Calling folks idiots isn't going to win you any points. And most folks consider 34.4 a 35 inch tire......

And you had to resurrect a TEN YEAR OLD thread as well?? Seriously? You are NOT starting out well......

Ok, let me rephrase that, you arent idiots, when you work with measurements all day, six tenths of an inch is over half an inch, which isnt just a hair, so lets round up. I apologize that was taken out of context. As for a good start, meh, not here to make best buddies just get answers. Sorry i didnt look at the date stamp, but it sure did get a fast response so thanks. Anyways, my apologies for being the FNG, lol

And that just made up for a lot.

I know that a fair few of my math professors used to just give me a bland look, and shake their heads when we talked about such things.

What answers are you looking for?

A lot of tires are usually .6 less then what they are suppose to. Bought 38s that measured 37.2

Well, I installed my 315 70 17s yesterday with no major hiccups. One tire took a decent amount of weight to balance but they all balanced out. And best news, no rubbing at full lock. Think i may get small coil spacers for the front bc the back has so much fender gap and the front has less and to me, being a perfectionist, it looks odd. Thanks for the add to the group.

Personally I would stay away from spacers I ran and currently run them. Also if you tow keep the rake as it will level out. What runs and doesn't depends on the wheel and truck itself. I ran 35s with no rubbing then when I lifted my truck I ran 37s no rubbing and now run 40s with very minimal trimming. Welcome aboard!

Ahh, i do tow occassionally and definitely dont want my truck looking like the carolina squat. Guess ill start looking around for suspension lifts and components. Its been Roughly 20 yrs since I had an old lifted toyota so any input on brands that are solid would be appreciated. Im guessing procomp, skyjacker, superlift are all still the norm? And has anybody seen this Any Level lift, thats for Fords? 15 grand for fully adjustable height with a touch of your phone....

Lift kits will still level out the truck. I used teri ways to combat this. I recommend RC to my customers at my shop (most bang for the buck) just may hand to buy different shocks (some have luck with them some don't). I did see that adjustable lift for Fords interesting but impractical to me.

What kind of wheel did you get? Did it have any sort of offset? I know I'm showing up to the conversation a little late..! But I have the same truck and want to run 315 70 17 also.
