Default HID headlights...

Well i am in the market for some hid head lights for my 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 and was wondering if anyone in the houston, Texas area knows a place with good service and that sells good quality stuff... I really emphasize "you get what you pay for" and dont want no crappy 50 dollar lights so let me know where the best place is... Thanks

Big D

These are really nicely priced units, and I've heard a lot of good things about them. I plan on using their stuff when I get a little cash here in the next few months.

Keep in mind you may have to rewire your lights, using relays from the battery, to get enough power to start up the HIDs. HIDs, once on, use less power than regular halogen bulbs, but to start them up, they require a little bit more than regular halogens.

However, Max, if you read, he doesn't offer a kit for 9004, which is our truck's bulb type.

And even if you compare his dual beam kit ($90) to the DDM dual beam kit ($90), the only difference is the $10-$15 shipping charge for the DDM units. And the way I look at it... $10-$15 for a lifetime warranty, vs. his two year.

I call that junk.

First of all, that link is to H13 bulbs. Second of all, the 9004s that they sell are evidently not on sale for the price he advertised (hence why he didn't post about that type).

Don't buy their regular hi/low kits. The bulbs that have a halogen high beam glued/melted/whatever to a HID bulb are junk (trust me, been there, done that, did a ton of research afterwards), and thats actually what he advertises for the $60 kits.

If you do buy from him, make sure you buy a bi-xenon kit.

He has everyone use a code to get this discount. This kit is true hid high and low. http://www.hidextra.com/HID+Conversi...enon+6000K.htm

Please I invite this fight to yahoo.

If the discount is good for 9004 bulbs, why didn't he list them?

Even if it is good for 9004s, refer back to post #4:
