Ok guys, Oddly enough I went to the junkyard today and bought the overhead console that has the display for $10, and I also got the temp sensor for under the hood. I got on here to post up a new thread and it was on the first page lol

Question 1. Do I have to get the dimming rear view mirrior and the lit visors? They wanted $20 for rear view and $10 each for visors at the junkyard.

Question 2. I tried to find the plug where the under hood light is, and its not there. Are you guys sure they all had the same harness? I can post a pic if yall would like

I am not really worried about MPG, I just really want Compass and temp to work.

yes...thats stated if you read the thread you have to run the wiring/sensors though.

 

no you do not need to get the auto dimming rear view mirror. but man it is so cool
As for the lit visors i did not get them do not need them.

You are saying you have no overhead console? if your head liner is not cut out for a overhead console i would say you would need to thinks this over. You would need the dead liner that will allow for the overhead console right.

no no I have an overhead console, it doesnt have the computer built in. I have already installed the new console with the gauge.

My problem is, I got the temp sensor, but I cannot find where you just plug it in under the hood!? Would it help if I posted a picture? Mine is a 2001 Dodge 5.2

 

i did read it, there was no mention of going from NO CONSOLE to having a console.

could of done without the attitude as well.
