Im guessing the 98 isnt wired for the Fuel Economy MPG thing? I would definitely like the newer style console, because mine has no compartments, but I do like my compass and temp sensor.

 

No, 99-01 trucks have a completley different wiring harness than your '98.

 

That sucks. For some reason the majority of Ebay auctions seem to group 98's with the 99-01's when there are so many differences.

 

Probably because '98s have the same dash.

 

Hey guys, I cannot find the underhood plug for the temp sensor. Did they all have them?

Well, I know what it looks like, I took it off of the one in the Junkyard. I got home and.. nothin. Hey PurplDodge, do you have the dimming rear view mirrior? Do you think it would be worth it for $20?

 

Yes!!! Works so much better than the regular mirror. And mine isnt even plugged in yet!!!

 

We tried to hook up my console last weekend, and even when we hooked up all the wires. Which wires for the console are for power? We are confused because we have all these extra wires we aernt going to use for the rear view mirrior and the visor mirriors. Anyone know?
